1	The diode balance value is outside the pre-set range -0.5 to +0.5 , an unequal amount of light is falling on the two light receiving diodes.	Flush the reference cell with the mobile phase being used. Perform the RID Optical Balance procedure (see The Optical Balance Procedure ).
