The RS-232C connector is used to control the module from a computer through RS-232C connection, using the appropriate software. This connector can be configured with the configuration switch module at the rear of the module, see Config Switch Settings of the Infinity II Valve Drive.
NOTE
There is no configuration possible on main boards with on-board LAN. These are pre-configured for
19200 baud,
8 data bit with no parity and
one start bit and one stop bit are always used (not selectable).
The RS-232C is designed as DCE (data communication equipment) with a 9-pin male SUB-D type connector. The pins are defined as:
