Editing a Task

Prerequisites

To be able to carry out the procedure as described you need the permission Edit tasks. The roles Maintenance Technician, Agilent Service Technician, or Administrator have the permission by default.

Select the task on the Task screen.

In the top toolbar of the Task Details Screen, you have the following editing options:

Tool	Description
	Saves the changes. The tool is disabled when no changes were made since the last save.
		Run Task	Executes the task. If the instrument is busy, the task is queued.
		Edit	Displays a dialog box where you can change the name and description of the task.
		Duplicate	Displays a dialog box where you must enter a unique name for the duplicate.
		Delete	Deletes the task after you confirm.
	Displays the screen help.
	Displays errors, warnings, and other information.

To edit a step of the task, select the desired step on the Overview tab of the Task Details Screen. Select to access the online help for more details.
